Wicksteed employees raise £1250 for Rainbows Children's Hospice
Wicksteed employees are delighted to have raised £1250 for Rainbows Children’s Hospice! Rainbows were the chosen charity for 2019. The hospice which is based in Loughborough has been providing care for 25 years. Rainbows provide end of life care, symptom management, short breaks, respite care and support for parents and siblings going through bereavement. It was founded by Gail and Harry Moore in 1989, in celebration of their daughter, Laura, who died of Leukaemia.
As a company with children at the forefront of our focus, this was a charity that touched all of us at Wicksteed. Throughout 2019 Wicksteed staff members organised mufti days, bake sales and a whole host of other fun activities with all proceeds going towards the hospice.
