What we are talking about…

West Winds Primary School

July 29, 2021

The School wanted to enhance their grounds by adding a new playground for the older children and a sensory garden to be used by all. The local Area Sales Manager surveyed the site and discussed various options with the Principal. A design and quotes were created and presented to the Principal who was very pleased with the results.

Wicksteed supplied and installed a Pickup Sticks 5 climbing unit with timber agility trail featuring balance beam, log traverse, rubber step pots, parallel rope walk, Burmah bridge, drop rope traverse, inclined balance weaver. The safety surfacing was safety grass mats.

The School also created a new sensory garden including a planting area. We supplied and installed a 5m timber Shamwari Pavilion to be used as an outdoor classroom for learning and a place for relaxation and fun.

Customer comment

“Just wanted to write and say thank you for all of your help and support during the design, purchase and install of our new playground equipment. The children absolutely love playing on it and as a school, we’re grateful to you for all of your support. The equipment is clearly of high quality and we look forward to many children clambering over it for years to come”
