Gloucester Park
Wicksteed Playgrounds were delighted to have been declared successful with their submission for Gloucester Park for Basildon Borough Council. The redevelopment of the park is a celebration of Lewis Silkin MP, who was responsible for the passing of the New Towns Act in 1945. The Park features a fully bespoke Tree Top Towers Canopy Multi-Play Unit and new See-Saw.
A time capsule has been buried underneath the play area and contains photographs, banners and merchandise from the year-long 70 celebrations.
