Dunster Playing Field & Parish Council

“We found Wicksteed very efficient and they answered any questions straight away.”

Wicksteed initially quoted for a Multi Use Games area for Dunster Marsh Playing Field Committee approximately 10 years ago. There were a few different designs and modifications to the drawings and quotes over this time until the playing field committee managed to obtain he grant funding they needed. The site is in a housing estate, next to a car park run by the local housing association, so there were many stakeholders to consider during installation.

Customer Comment

“We first approached Wicksteed for a quote for a Multi- Use Games Area, MUGA, over 10 years ago. We finally raised the necessary funds and asked Wicksteed for an updated quote, which was less than the original one! We found Wicksteed very efficient and they answered any questions straight away. When it came to the installation we had a pre site meeting and with their experienced team they helped to solve any problems there might have been as it is a difficult site for them to work on with limited access. Apart from the wet weather during which Wicksteed couldn’t get on site, the installation went well. The team worked hard especially when it came to laying the tarmac which involved a lot of wheelbarrows. Safety was paramount and every day they left the site safe and tidy. We now have a MUGA which will last many years for children and adults to have fun, learn skills for life making a real difference to their lives.”
