What we are talking about…

Church St, Addiewell

July 29, 2021

Wicksteed Playgrounds were selected to supply and install a new steel trim trail within the recreation ground of Church St in Addiewell. The existing play area at Church St featured a broad mixture of play equipment but was lacking challenging units with plenty of climbing opportunities for children in the junior – older age bracket.

The Wicksteed adventure trail was selected by West Lothian Council for its huge amount of play value and the lifetime structural guarantee that comes with all of Wicksteeds steel products. With climbing walls, climbing nets, stepping posts and balance beams there is enough to keep the children of Addiewell occupied for hours!

Customer comment

“The recent extension to the play area at Addiewell Primary School has benefitted both the local school children and the wider community, particularly older children as the existing play area was previously focused on toddlers. As always, the design and build were managed very effectively by Wicksteed and their subcontractors, including reacting in an efficient manner to very inclement weather and associated ground conditions. The new equipment is proving robust and there have been no issues with the install.”
