Apley Castle Play Area - Telford & Wrekin Council

September 24, 2020

As part of the tender process, we were asked to provide a design at Apley Castle Play Area for toddlers and juniors which included a castle-themed multi-play unit. The play area is located in a new housing development and we had to use the limited space provided to create a design which was robust, had limited maintenance, a range of play equipment for ages 2 to 10 and was in-keeping with the natural backdrop. We included two bespoke multi-play units, both castle-themed – a Tree Top Towers Copa unit with a stainless steel slide and a Nursery Rhymes Range Little Miss Muffet. We also included a two-bay Viking Swing with 2 x flats, 1 x cradle and 1 x adult/child seat, a Glow Worm see-saw, Comet roundabout and Galaxy Springie. The play area is fenced and finished with wet pour surfacing throughout.
