Added Wicksteed Value

Wicksteed continues to invest in both machines and personnel and with a recent purchase of a £190k state of the art CNC router, the Northamptonshire-based play and sports equipment manufacturer is now able to allow customers even more bespoke products in terms of unique design.

Continual business enhancement is essential in today’s market and the capabilities of the incorporated routing spindle allows Wicksteed to design specific themes which are, in turn, transported to the machine to engrave.  With HDPE panels available in both 12mm and 19mm thickness this high speed machine will serve to increase the company’s already highly creative side even further.  Additionally, this exciting new machine facility improves the carbon footprint as it reduces waste.

It’s not just machinery that requires continual investment; Wicksteed invests in its diverse team of employees, too.  Having identified that their customers will occasionally call for even more attentive support on particular projects, Wicksteed has also recently appointed two new Contract Managers.  Graham Lees and Jamie Brady are currently undergoing thorough training and will soon be fully qualified, increasing the nationwide team of Contract Managers to eight.
